Denise Wall
Certified Paralegal
Denise, a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, joined Wertz & Dake in 2002. She received a degree in Paralegal Studies from Kirkwood Community College in 1992, and later earned a BLS degree with an emphasis in Psychology at the University of Iowa in 2003. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
In 2002, Denise earned her Certified Paralegal (CP) credential from the NALA—the leading paralegal association in the United States. In 2000, and again in 2011, she received the IALA President’s award. She received the NALA’s Affiliates’ Award in 2005. Denise is a member of the Iowa Association of Legal Assistants/Paralegals (IALA) and the National Association of Assistants/Paralegals (NALA).
Denise enjoys the investigation phase of her cases. She spends a great deal of time listening to clients and, if appropriate, directs clients to community services that are set up to assist people with specific needs.
In her spare time, she likes reading, watching movies, working on home projects, church activities and simply spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her two dogs.
